We love allowing prospective future educators the opportunity to come into our school and get a glimpse of what it is like to be a teacher. This one holds a special place in our hearts, as it is one of our own former students.

Kindergarten students ended Fire Safety Week with a visit from Firefighter Marshall, who also happens to be our Principal!
Mrs. Kleinsmith's kindergarten class made stone soup. Once it was done cooking, they sampled it and by the looks on their faces, it must have been delicious!
First grade students have enjoyed some time outdoors the past couple of weeks developing their skills of striking a stationary object with short and long handled implements in PE.
Have you signed up for parent-teacher conferences yet? Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 20th and Thursday, October 21st. We love when parents come to visit - especially when they drive something as cool as a semi! A parent of one of Ms. Cathy's students stopped by and told students a little about her job. Our students then had the opportunity to climb up into the cab of the semi. Thank you for visiting, Sue!

Jess Wagner from the Hurstville Interpretive Center visited Mrs. Eberhart's second grade classroom this week to teach students about the migration of monarch butterflies. Students then got to help tag and release the butterflies.
